Building Self-Esteem and Character in the Traumatized Child
Experiencing the trauma of abuse and/or neglect negatively impacts children’s self-esteem, which is the collection of beliefs or feelings they have about themselves. Caregivers will learn how low self-esteem impacts how children interact with others, and how they treat themselves. Participants will be provided with practical strategies to promote the development of positive self-esteem and positive character traits in children who have experienced trauma.
