Flipgrid for "Newbies" - Shared screen with speaker view
I saw that the video was captioned—does flip grid do that automatically for the videos?
That was my question, Mari! :)
If you have questions, please put them in chat and Jen will answer at the end...
What is your “Six Word Memoir” - just curious!
What about using flip grid to facilitate group discussions about a topic?
how quickly do the students come up to speed with the process? Can they use it easily?
They can share screens in breakout rooms
I love your REMINDERS! I need them, too
I took a screenshot of the slide when Jen was giving instructions to students… During week 11, I suggested that students do this during zoom meetings to “take notes” and they had pretty good luck with this.
So when I go to create a new Assignment, in Canvas, exactly when do I have the choice to use FlipGrid?
can you prevent them from using stickers?
so the captioning is kinda like youtube—not entirely accurate but will help in a pinch
I don’t know how to make it to the page that you just show, the one to edit flip grid and the students responses
YOU LOOK TERRIFIC
So you need to be on “student view” for canvas in order to see the flip grid student view?
what is immersive reader?
there might be two scroll bars in the window
an external scroll bar for the window, and an internal scroll bar for the option
can we keep going and you can come back to this sine it is a one person problem? Sorry I have grading to do?
could be a browser issue
could be browser issue
Kamau you might need to clear your cache
I think it might be the sticky notes option
Jen you are awesome for doing this. thank you so much
Thanks Jen! A very helpful introduction. Can’t wait to play around with it!
Thank you Jen - so much!!!!! :)
