Thank you all so much! Your resources and help have been amazing and has made the transition to remote online instruction so much easier! Truly appreciated! :)

21:18
I am trying to find the page that has vetted instructional designers and help with accessibility? Does anyone know where that is?

23:04
On Canvas, I was 45th in line when I called the other day, but they called back in 45 minutes and it worked out well.

24:35
The workshops/trainings are awesome and very much appreciated!

25:24
Labster?

26:12
Is the extension of Ally only for those schools that do not already purchase it, or will colleges who have paid for get a 3 month reprieve?

26:48
How long is Labster available?

29:26
Any thought on what will happen with Proctorio after June 30?

30:10
First of all, thanks for everything, Jory! Any chance the OEI CTE grant can be extended?

30:40
Integrating these resources into our curriculum (especially Labster) involves an investment. It changes our teaching and courses. Can we get some numbers as to what our potential liability might be after June 30th for each of these resources?

33:52
Yeah for being optimistic.

34:01
Not stressing...just want more sleep :)

34:07
@Nick With tools, we usually ask a couple of people to beta test it. Just because it's available doesn't mean we must use it if it doesn't fit our needs :)

34:58
@Scott. That is a common question for ALL grants. Chancellor's Office is working on a response.

35:44
Guidance on blanket DE addendum is forthcoming -- hopefully today.

36:06
I know the Chancellor’s office will let us know about captioning. Do you happen to know if 3C Media Solutions receive more funding?

36:10
@Nick - The CCCCO negotiated the Labster contract so we can’t speak to the pricing per college at this point. If we find anything out, we will work with them to let you all know.

36:51
The DECT grant is in business

37:59
https://www.canyons.edu/academics/schools/learningresources/captioning/

38:50
Is the closed captioing available in 3C Media Solutions now?

39:05
That’s a great question.

39:10
Is the real-time zoom captioning human based or automated?

39:23
It would be nice if other vendors developed the easy process that 3C has spoiled us with :)

39:35
Jory, we often move through our business and don’t stop long enough to make a human connection. What are the biggest stresses you’ve been facing?

41:16
Can the approval process of the DECT grant agreement be faster? Right now, it requires our Chancellor to sign it and it has delay a lot of closed captioning.

41:46
Ditto to question posed by Rebecca…

41:53
Dropbox is what we used with AI

41:56
I second Rebecca's statement

42:35
unplug and replug it

42:51
The companies could hire students to assist with closed captioning :)

43:55
DECT: www.canyons.edu/captioning

43:59
Yes!

44:23
Couldn’t have said it better.

44:34
🤪

47:22
@Rebecca - for the DECT application, we require a board authorized signature from the applicant college. Some colleges let Deans or VPs sign. We definitely don't require the CEO to sign

48:22
Unfortunately, the language in the agreement does require our Chancellor to sign it at our district.

51:37
So is DECT our only captioning solution at the moment

53:04
This is the TechConnect form for requesting captions for live Zoom sessions. Must be submitted 5 days in advance “when there is a student participating in the live class, and needs hearing support.” https://ccctechconnect.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015667594-Live-Closed-Captions-How-to-Submit-a-Request

53:43
Thank you, Michelle

56:26
@Erin - any chance that the CCCCO could publish an updated org chart so we know who to call for what?

57:26
thank you Erin!

57:49
Will the DE Guidelines be released soon?

59:32
Thank you

59:45
Thanks Joanna & DECO!!!

59:51
Thank you, All!

01:00:02
Thank you!

01:00:07
thank you!
