Perhaps look at robust training others have provided to Resident Assistants.
Or even beyond that, Linda. I know they can't stay in the housing forever, but studying for exams at the same time you are tying to find a home would just out vulnerable students at a greater disadvantage
At Sierra we call this an exit plan. We work with community partners and others on campus to build knowledge about opportunities and costs. In some cases we have been able to cover deposits which tends to be a big financial barrier.
On campus student employment preference for those in the resident halls
Love VP Costa and President Haynes point, potentially that would mean the partnership with Basic Needs and Foundation and other organizations in community. Maybe providing the scholarship for the first time tenants
