Affiliation fees are for membership. That membership includes curriculum & many other benefits.

Anya - there is some flexibility in the curriculum - it is not scripted or detailed like PLTW, for example.

It would be even more powerful if CTE pathway programs were required to provide participation for all students in their CTSO regardless of funding source. Rather than giving them to option to perpetuate historic and institutional barriers to marginalized students in communities with these patterns. This should be a requirement for affiliation to a CTSO

Yes, you can use K12 for Memberships and subscriptions in business, professional, technical groups/associations. Membership must be paid to the agency and not directly to students.

Is there a step by step planning guide? Or a planning timeline?

Is there a one-pager for each CTSO that highlights the curriculum, dates of competitions, how to integrate into classroom, costs...and such?

As a past FBLA advisor, I can say it's a great opportunity for students. The FBLA organization is very supportive to new advisors

Christine -- no one-pager, more a webpage that houses all 6 CTSOs. You will need to look at each CTSO webpage for the specifics you highlighted.

So, if teachers are interested, can they start now? The funding is over, so how would you start at this point? Is it better to plan to start next year or once we get the funding?
