If a student received an Incomplete in the Fall of 2019 (pre-COVID) and COVID has inhibited their ability to successfully make up the work over the past year, can they receive an EW or does an A - F letter grade need to be issued for their Fall 2019 grade?

Sometimes a "D" is passing. If we can get a student to pass the class instead of an F or an EW, it may help them progress in college. A conversation needs to ensue to decide what is best for the student. Refer them to a Counselor.

A D is passing for some classes if the class is not used for the student's major. Many GE classes not Math or English or sequence class used as a prerequisite.
