37:02

37:40

37:48
Wondering who all has a Student Health Services Program?

38:18
We have a Student Health Center at Bakersfield College

38:56
We have one as well at CCSF.

39:06
Cerritos has a Student Health Center, and a beautiful new facility: https://www.cerritos.edu/shs/

39:59
Is Mental Health and Basic Needs in the Student Health Center at your colleges?

40:18
Ohlone has a student health center https://www.ohlone.edu/healthcenter

40:52
They are in separate areas

41:25
It is housed under Student Health & Wellness at South Orange County Community College District

41:29
We have Student Health Services and a Basic Needs Services. They are separate but I am curious about integration of these programs/centers

41:31
Cerritos - Mental Health is under SHS, Basic Needs is under Student Affairs (the Falcon's Nest, will be presented today)

43:24
wonderful!

45:56
When are the other CSSO webinars? Is there a website with dates/more info? This is absolutely great and needed 👍

46:44

54:36
Thanks, Colleen! This is a great doc to bookmark!

57:37
Will Rebecca's slides be shared with participants?

58:11
The full presentation will be posted on the Association website and a link will be sent to participants.

58:17
Yes., we will ask her to share them.

01:01:15
Rebecca, the Basic Needs local plans and websites on February 1 are not “due” to the CCCCO—only the plan in Nova at the end of the fiscal year, correct?

01:03:22
That is correct, James.

01:05:22
How do you get grocery cards approved from your district? Our district will not allow it bc people could potentially buy alcohol with a grocery card

01:06:05
Can we get access to this PowerPoint as well?

01:06:39
I believe these slides will be provided, we are happy to share

01:06:50
Danyel, the gift cards we get from our local grocery store automatically have an alcohol & tobacco restriction.

01:07:12
Rosa, what grocery store is that?

01:07:15
We will ensure the link gets out to all participants. We will post them on the CSSO website for quick access.

01:07:19
How often can students access the pantry? Is there a limit on how many items they can recieve?

01:07:58
Currently access is once a week, but if a student has higher need we will consider. At this time we have not had a supply issue.

01:08:16
Are the items mostly donated?

01:08:20
our suppliers are Food Finders and the LA Regional Food Bank (for our outside distributions and our market, two separate problems)

01:08:31
Hi Danyel, we are requiring students to agree and sign that they are not to purchase alcohol/tobacco when they register for the food pantry, and need to show receipt after they purchase food to receive another card

01:09:06
can you go back to the last slide or a second?

01:09:34
All the food is donated, we have purchased some hygiene items to fill in gaps and ensure we can meet the needs of all students (i.e. hair types/textures)

01:10:54
Adrienne, this is with Vallarta grocers. Upon requesting an invoice, we let them know we need alcohol & tobacco eliminated and also let the student know that if they tried, it'd be restricted at the registered. Vallarta has a list of the Card#s associated with our college as well.

01:10:57
And is the Health Services director also on the CAIR team, as I believe the SHS role is public health/population health

01:11:05
@Rebecca - will there be a list-serv set up for basic needs center coordinators? Or is there one?

01:11:17
Could you share your contact slide again?

01:11:27
Noticed you have 4 employees and 7 interns... are all 4 of the employees full time?

01:11:36
Thank you Pamela! This is wonderful!

01:11:38
