“Engagement” a good guiding principle to add. Let’s make sure as many of us can be involved in discussions like this at each step.
Alma Mejia
49:08
what about those folks that are not going to get the vaccine? What steps will be taken this issue?
Econ Eddie
49:34
Can you explain faculty preparedness and what this means. Is this related to faculty being prepared to teach or is it prepared to implement health guidelines?
Iris Dimond
50:07
What verification will be required to note vaccination? Will we be reducing the class sizes to support social distancing
Piyali Markalanda
52:25
Will the campus open in phases? Faculty and staff only first, outdoor/safe site for examinations only, then finally fully open?
Alex Casareno
52:43
Office are very small. How do we social distance? Will protective shields go up between faculty and students?
Gregory Beyrer
53:18
Could CRC become a vaccine distro center in service to our community (along with students and employees)? It’s an opportunity for serve the people who live in our service area.
Hong Pham
54:14
Can you add "Student Impact" under "Instructional Key Issues" as well?
Econ Eddie
55:12
great idea greg
Gregory Beyrer
55:27
How much of our schedule will be fully online once we are able to return safely to campus?
Cyndi Patten
56:46
Is it possible to use summer sessions as a "soft opening" ?
Michael Strong
56:56
It's a Fermi problem. ~365 million population, we need to be vaccinating 300,000 people a day to get effective coverage within a year. More vaccinations sites are needed.
Iris Dimond
57:09
What provisions are made for faculty with pre-existing conditions or immune compromised folks

58:11
If/when we open, will folks have the option to continue to work from home?

Has the college purchased portable air filtration systems? Has the HVAC systems in every building been considered for proper air filtration?
Gregory Beyrer
01:01:10

Michael Strong
01:02:15
What about "Virtual Classrooms" where we record from a campus room, possible with media services help, but the class is still online?
Econ Eddie
01:02:40
How will restrooms be cleaned (how often). How will restroom use be handled (6 feet apart)
Teresa Lopez
01:02:55
I know that there are no dates yet, but once opening is scheduled, will offices, like the Business Services Office open before on campus classes. And if so, is there an idea of how much ahead of on campus instruction might we be on site?
Nathan Miller
01:03:04
What are faculty rights when it comes to having clearly sick students in the classroom when we do reopen?
Nathan Miller
01:03:53
Will the campus have a mask mandate?
Iris Dimond
01:04:07
CRC double walled masks for us to wear would be great to have also
Alex Casareno
01:05:22
In small offices, how do we social distance and maintain confidentiality?
Gregory Beyrer
01:05:38
Excellent suggestion @Michael. Having a recording studio that can be used singly and ventilated between uses would be great. Training in how to use it could be done remotely as could support.
Alex Casareno
01:08:04
could we anticipate that meetings would remain on Zoom as opposed to having people in a single meeting room?
Gregory Beyrer
01:08:11
Will formal recommendations on these matters be made by the appropriate participatory governance groups? Including those groups would help all of us feel engaged.
Nathan Miller
01:08:31
The CDC came out with a report last week that college reopening increased community spread by 50% compared to colleges that did not. How do you plan on educating the college community on how to prevent spread to the broader community?
Julia Villalobos

How much, if any, will plans from other community colleges in the area (Sierra, Delta) influence Los Rios' decision to re-open?
anni trent
01:13:37
hire more nurses to handle testing an other medical issues on campus
Denize
01:13:56
Considering our already impacted budget how is the district planning on handling the much needed expenses/enhancements required to reopen?
Iris Dimond
01:14:03
I would think the high impact areas for student engagement would be admissions & records, financial aid office, Library and a few other areas where we see regular lines of folks waiting for service. Opening early to alleviate the impact may be prudent.
Eva Rhodes
01:15:03
That would also include Counseling
Iris Dimond
01:15:05
Great idea Anni, we need more health professionals to support Michell Barkley as I see a real impact on that area.

ooops... sorry... just saw your chat reply. :)
Iris Dimond
01:26:26
Our department had already considered a staggered in classroom schedule to allow for cleaning in between classes but we are unique in that the bulk of our classes meet in the Child Development center classroom and we have that flexibility.
Julie Oliver
01:26:39
Pretty clear that there are a lot of factors to figure out to return in the fall. It is a hope not a guarantee that we will be back in the fall. Just a reality check.
