SCCRC Regional ZOOM Meeting 4-17-20 - Shared screen with speaker view
Who is calling in from a phone at 661-803-9035?
Luann, do you have an updated date for training for K12 pathway coordinator?
Could you please provide that info, because I haven't received it
I think that's it in June
Wait — K12 pathways coordinators are hosted by K12, and are not hosted by colleges.
I have a question
Is this similar to what Career Ladders Project does?
Some middle schools do have actual pathways/magnets
Yes, there are middle schools with pathways.
We may want to participate in the planning of this
i would like to be part of that work group
Noted…Diane W and Michael S.
I would also like to help from SBCEO
Programs of study, to some extent
K12 Perkins V due 5/15
Sharon - do you have a google address? It is not allowing me to add e-mails ending with sbceo.org.
I thought I heard in the last Covid-19 CCCCO webinar that the CDE may announce updated Perkins V info, too.
Nadia mine is email@example.com
Harriet, there was also discussion through CLP yesterday about whether the community college negotiated contracts with entities like Labster and Next Gen Dynamic Forms could be shared with the K12 level
Diane, we at the community colleges would love to have the favored rates with Adobe Cloud that the K12 has
Agriculture, Water, & Env. Tech. are also essential infrastructure.
Especially in light of the growing implementation of concurrent enrollment
I believe we have the same issues with Adobe at the K12 level free version
Challenge of equity and access to tools like Adobe extend to K12 as well when you include dual enrollment
CDE does have some virtual early childhood observation resources through their sites, if that's of any help.
For those offering computer applications courses (C-ID approved), how are you helping students with Macs get access to Access? The free Office 365 doesn't have Access. Also, we have lending laptops that are Chromebooks and the students can't download Office on it. Have any of you found solutions for these?
I can report out next . . .
I can report out after Robert.

Hi everyone, I wanted to share with you the communications we sent to families regarding work permits
So many of our CTE programs use these, and so many of our families need the extra financial support.
Me, too, Holly!
cteonline.org has lots of Ag materials that are accessible online
John - we hear your conversation- please mute.
Luann, as host you should have ability to mute all.
Margaret- If I mute all, then the speakers have to understand they have to unmute themselves
My deep apologies to all for my lack of muting awareness
I attempted to mute John but the system wouldn’t let me!
