Experience provides different perspectives. I agree, Richard!
Such joyful, bright colors in your work Christine!

What has inspired me this fall was "How to be an Artist" by Jerry Saltz. This is a small book of essays that you can pick up and read in any order. This provided me some interesting perspectives and allowed me to reflect on my own art and gave me a connection to art when I couldn't paint.
Where do you get large canvases?

been there years ago...this is a beautiful piece!
For reading inspiration during the pandemic I have revisited/reread two classics: Art as Experience by John Dewey (1934) and Composition of Outdoor Painting by Edgar Payne (1941).
I can almost smell the gases as they rise out of your painting, Nikolai!
stunning piece- I especially love the gas plumes!
Nicolai...your work is wonderful....
Beautiful work. Love the texture.
thanks for this place to hear from the artists!
Cameron...you have done an excellent job..... thank you.
I should mention that NMA is great for live figure sessions. That’s what I use frequently.
Public art piece up for a short time. Ceres Ave Footbridge. Enjoy it while it's up. Perhaps the largest ever in chico
This has been delightful. Thank you to Richard, Christine, Annai, Nikolai, and Cameron for inspiring us today!
thank you to CAC for these artist chats - a great way to stay connected and gain inspiration
