Anahit, you don't need to worry about linking it. They are working on it. Just use the account at laccd.zoom.us

Hi Emil & Bamdad. I’m having trouble with Quick Launch. It directs me to “account settings” which says I don’t have an account.

There was an email earlier this morning from the district's IT
It may not immediately link to Canvas but you can schedule meetings there and email your students the link.

So you don't need to schedule the Zoom through Canvas? When I tried, it said the same thing that there is no existing account.
I recommend doing a screencastomatic to show students what to do.

@JIMENEGA if your ConferZoom works within Canvas then schedule through Canvas, otherwise you will have to schedule from outside Canvas thru zoom.

Does anyone know if you teach at multiple colleges can you use just one Zoom account to set up meetings for other colleges? In other words, can I use my LACCD Zoom account and use it to set up a meeting for students at COC?

Cindy, students can reply to an email but they can't necessarily replay back to an announcement. But most communication should occur through announcements for accreditation purposes.
How would I go back to view a recorded training section?
I asked about viewing a training section, my question was in regards to any and/or all sections.

I am not sure I completely agree with you Bamdad. yes, if they’re just logging in to watch a video of me teaching. but if they have to now post under discussions, submit assignments, take exams and quizzes ? not all our students are tech savvy
some of my students would need assistance signing in and navigating canvas :(

I meant the zoom part is easier. Not the rest. But I am going to show them all those things on zoom when we first meet.
What’s the difference between “TechConnect Cloud” and “ConferZoom” ? They seem to be the same.
"Tech connect" is district IT's attempt to fix the connection between zoom and Canvas. we will get a notice once they fix it and supposedly they will make all of these button into one.
I set up a zoom account last week. This morning, I got that email, so I went into my zoom account and verified that it automatically was upgraded to pro - you can see that it now says 300 people and unlimited access.
