either way is fine
could it be moved up a week?
I can do either
Going to be AMAZING!
Thank you Kate and Jim!
Thank you :-)
If anyone has links to those 2 letters and can post them here that might be helpful. Otherwise I can try to do that afterwards to the DE-ALL
That would be great, Lisa.
Here’s the ASCCC letter: https://asccc.org/sites/default/files/Calbright%20Letter%20Oct%207%202019.pdf
Awesome - thanks, Jim
But I’ve never seen the actual communication from the CO about non-duplication.
Let me see if I can find it, or maybe Erin knows a direct link...

Thank you, Erin!
Thanks to both of you.
Yes, thank you Erin!
Has the invitation been posted for new colleges to join the Consortium?
Any updates on the Letter of Invitation for schools to join the Consortium?
Social engagement tools = Notebowl? And ?
What tools will be available for the next consortium cohort?
Please post Kate's email in the chat!
Thank you Kate!
You are welcome! Thank you!
You mentioned faculty incentives. Can you elaborate?
How are you handling adjuncts who also teach same course at other area schools? For example, we want to make sure that even a CVC badged class includes accurate resources for our institution.
Do we know how many colleges in the system have instructional designer positions?
I think for most of us having an instructional designer is a "blue-sky" dream, but it rarely happens. They're on the wrong side of the 50% in most cases.
@Deborah...I'd like to know that, too!
I think a number of colleges are using temporary instructional designers with grant funding, and are hoping to demonstrate the need/value to make a case for a permanent position.
@Lisa, maybe ask about accessibility specialists in that poll, too.
Jim, you describe our reality at this point in time. We're proposing a new position based on the work of a temporary instructional designer on board this year. We need data to get our District to support such a position permanently! DN
Yep, it’s been our reality for a couple years now. Keep on trying …
Yes our campus is trying to advocate for instructional designer and accessibility specialist so I agree that should also be in the poll. Thanks for this great presentation.
An instructional designer and accessibility should be a part of every school these days. IMHO!
Never, never, never, never give up! I believe Winston Churchill gets the credit for that
Can you share that address in the chat?
What are the POCR classes for the Spring?
Will we get links to the meetings?
It would be helpful if the POCR discussions were on Friday (not DECO Friday)
Thank you everyone!
Yes - Autumn will send those out to the DE listserv next week
Thanks for having me.
